Ms. Fornaris is an accomplished worker’s compensation attorney, and a respected member in the South Florida legal community since 1984.
She began her career as a lawyer in an insurance defense firm, representing employers. In 1987 she joined the City of Miami Attorney's Office as the lawyer representing the City in workers' compensation matters. In June 1990 Martha and two partners opened their own practice, where she continued to primarily represent employers. Since 1994, Martha Fornaris has been concentrating on the area of workers' compensation. In 2000, she made the decision to open her own firm, solely concentrating on workers' compensation law. Since that time Martha has focused on the representation of employees.
Martha Fornaris started the firm nearly 20 years ago and has personally represented thousands of people who were injured due to negligence. Early on in her practice, she developed a passion for protecting the rights of injury victims and workers' rights. Ms. Fornaris' daughter, Carolina Hernandez has joined the firm and she could not be more pleased to see her legacy continued.
